In today’s world of ‘Light-Workers’ and Channellers, there seems to be more and more interest and desire to know about one’s Akashic Records. So what exactly is an Akashic Record, and how do you ‘read’ it?

Did you know that the word Akashic comes from the Sanskrit term Akasha? 

Akasha in direct translation, from Hinduism, means ‘upper sky’ or ‘space.’ If we go further into the word and look at two schools of philosophy in Hindu, being the Nyaya and Vaisheshika, they bring the meaning of the word to become aether – the fifth physical substance, which is the foundation base for sound. Now the curious thing is that the more we understand about creation. the more we realise  that sound is the most crucial part. Sound travels through a substance – water, liquid, or similar and creates.  

So if we would look at the Akashic Records, as being just that, a record of the aether, the physical basis of sound recorded in a foundational substance in which it created a form.  

We also begin to realise that each and every action, thought, word, and experience that has been our privilege to live, has been recorded on a vast computer, it makes sense that there are some ‘energy beings’ that can read this data.

Just as in our ‘everyday lives’ some people are trained to be specialists in the computer world, or medical world or  are shamans or healers etc. Others are instructed or given the ability to read the data in the Akashic (Akasha) records. This ability is to enable those who wish to know more about their past lives, their spiritual genealogy, or life path the relavant information by accessing this data.  

Each Akasha reader is different in how they access this information – some only need your name and picture. – You may find others may request more information, but mostly the accessor of information only asks for ‘surface-level’ information so that they can access the first level of information to assist in going deeper.

When the Akasha (Akashic) record opens to the reader, there are specific area’s that may be ‘disallowed.’ What do I mean by this? If you have asked for particular information, the areas that are not connected or related to that request may be closed off for a different time of revealing. If this does occur, your Higher Self or Universe may consider that now is not the time to expose what you are not seeking.  

Normally we are only given what we can carry or bear within our energy, in an Akasha (Akashic Reading), it is not for a seeker to be burdened with an excessive amount of information that they have no idea how to process.

The information stored on the Akashic Record is understood, in various ways. Some believe it to be a human creation that came about when humanity first came to this world. Others believe that the Akashic is a magnetic field of information that records all events of the Universe, thus is not specific to humanity or earth.

There are others still that hold to a conviction that Akashic Records are the ‘Karmic Records’ which hold every deed we have done, thought or action we have contemplated. There are many humans from many parts of belief, so therefore the records will adjust to their requirements. HOWEVER a good Akashic Reader will be able to assertain the correct lineage, timelines, life path and journey for the individual that is seeking.

Often the question is raised, “Why can the Akasha (Akashic) Records not be read by everyone, who is awakened or on their journey?” The answer is simply that not everyone is tuned into the required frequency to read the information. Most people who comprehend the Akashic Records have been working with Higher Energy in bringing messages through for many years. Or they have a unique gift that enables them to see through the human story into the Akashic lineage and bring through the correct information.

In the best practice presentation of an Akashic Record Transmission, it should be presented in written form, recorded on audio – if required – or at times a drawing/etching is presented. This style of presentation enables the seeker to take the information with them and review at a later date.
